Cheski Brown
Owner Cheski Brown, BHSII and ESNZ Performance Coach, first sat on a horse when she was 13 weeks old. Since then, her training and coaching career has spanned five decades in UK, Asia & New Zealand.
Cheski's family took her to Singapore at the age of five. Her formative riding years included racing, eventing, dressage, show-jumping and then polo - a wide base upon which she's built her knowledge and unique coaching style.
She was National Coach for the Singapore Equestrian team between 1975 and 1995, and she steered the Singapore Eventing team to gold medal victory at the 1995 South East Asian Games in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
In 1984 Cheski & her husband Desmond brought their two small children Abi & Derry to New Zealand to start Abderry with the original intention of it being Desmond's retirement property. Since then the 120 acre converted dairy farm has been extensively re-developed to become a leading sporthorse training facility in New Zealand with a dedicated approach to horse training, based on safety and respect.
Cheski has developed extensive knowledge from the thousands of horses that have been through Abderry for the services provided which include Pre-Export Preparation, Weaning, Starting, Schooling & Coaching
