Weaning Season

Time and time again we find that if the young horse has had the benefit of a period of calm, consistent handling and education as a weanling then he or she finds interaction with humans and discipline so much easier later on in life. We take the weaning handling process very carefully and seriously by using controlled circumstances and purpose built facilities to teach the youngster to lead, tie-up, learn to wear a cover, be washed and groomed and to be confident enough to allow a farrier to handle it's feet and legs without stressing. A few of weeks of early education is well worth the investment.
